ANZMBS & APMBC 2023

The 5th Australia New Zealand Marine Biotechnology Society Conference (5th ANZMBS) will be held jointly with the 13th Asia Pacic Marine Biotechnology Conference (APMBC) in Adelaide, Australia from 2-6 October 2023.

The organising committee formally invites you as a member of the ANZMB Society to the 13th Asia-Pacific Marine Biotechnology Conference / 5th Australia- New Zealand Marine Biotechnology Society Conference to be held in Adelaide, Australia from 2-6 October 2023. Please note the $90 (AUD) discount for full members of the ANZMBS. Student members pay a registration fee that is less than half of the regular fee.

 

This is the first time the APMBC will be held in the Australia/New Zealand region. The combination of Australian and New Zealand marine territories makes it the second largest in the world and the largest in the Asia-Pacific region, with a rich biodiversity. This provides a great opportunity to participate in the growth and future development of the marine biotechnology industry in the region and globally.

There will be 12 Plenary speakers and up to 30 sessions covering 12 Themes across the range of Marine Biotechnology. A key feature of the conference program will be the balance of academic and industry participants. The program also offers a Forum for Young Scientists (Students and Early Career Researchers); a Forum for Woman Scientists;  and a Forum on Industry, Investment and Policy forums. The latter is to align industry needs and government priorities with productive collaborations and research and development essential for achieving industry’s full potential.

Adelaide is the capital of South Australia with its famous wine regions – The Adelaide Hills, the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek are all within a 1-hour drive.
